Is there onsite parking?
Yes, there is a main car park and overflow car park located at the front and a rear car park available passed the Church
I'm in the car park - where do I go now?

From the front and over flow car parks, head towards the wooden gate leading to the playing fields and walk through. Follow the pathway past the tennis courts until you reach the Gym and Swimming pool building on the left. Access the facilities through the main door

From the rear car park, there is an opening into the playing fields to your left, continue round the pool building to the main entrance doors

Do I need to take my shoes off before entering poolside/changing rooms?
Yes - all shoes can be placed in the entrance corridor on the shelves provided. No shoes or outdoor footwear is to be worn in the changing rooms or on poolside
Which changing rooms do we use?

Changing Room 2 - this entrance is for spectators only who do not need to assist their child in the changing rooms

Changing Room 3 - female only changing room

Changing Room 4 - male only changing room

Children aged 8 and above are expected to change in their respective rooms, while those under 8 may be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Children who are accompanied by an adult must use the changing room for the adults gender

Are there shower facilities?
Yes - there is a communal shower located between the male and female changing rooms
How do I get to the pool from the changing rooms?
Signs will guide you from the changing rooms to poolside
Can I bring food/drink on poolside?
No - food and drink is not permitted on poolside
Can my child have a water bottle with them while they swim?
Yes - swimmers may have a plastic/metal water bottle either on poolside by the section they are swimming in or can be kept with parents/guardians should they need a drink
Can I take photos/videos of my child?
No - photos and videos on poolside or in the changing rooms are not permitted
What do we need to bring for our first lesson?
Swimwear, a towel and goggles if your child likes to wear them. We provide a swim hat for all new swimmers, but you can provide your own if you prefer
Does my child have to wear a swimming hat and goggles?
Swimming hats are compulsory but goggles are optional and down to personal preference
My child's swimming hat is broken/lost - can I get another one?
Yes, please speak to a member of the team on poolside and we can arrange this. Replacement hats cost £5 which is payable in cash on poolside
How do I find out about my child’s progress?
Every child's progress is updated on our online system and can be found on your Parent Portal which can be accessed here
How do I let you know if my child has a medical condition?

At the time of booking please let the office team know and they can add it to your child's personal details

If you have already booked with us or are not sure if we have your child's medical details please check and update this information in your Parent Portal which can be accessed here

How many children will be in each class?

Widths classes are maximum 6 swimmers

Lengths classes are 6-8 swimmers

Hour classes are 6-10 swimmers

What happens if my child cannot attend a lesson?

If your child cannot attend a lesson you can let us know on your Parent Portal which can be accessed here

As per our Terms and Conditions no refund or credit is given if your child cannot attend

What happens if the pool is closed or a lesson is cancelled?

In the event we have to close the pool or cancel lessons we will inform you by SMS and email - please ensure your contact details are up-to-date in your Parent Portal which can be accessed here

As per our Terms and Conditions we will offer the following - lessons will be rescheduled at the same venue if possible, alternative times or locations may be offered, a ‘Standby Week’ may be utilised for missed lessons within the term (this can be found on our Term Dates)

Can my child swim if they are ill?
Do not attend lessons if the swimmer or responsible adult has a contagious condition. Swimmers must be symptom-free for at least 48 hours before returning
Can I drop my child off for their lesson and then go?
No - a parent/guardian or a designated responsible adult must remain poolside during lessons. If another adult temporarily assumes responsibility, inform the swimming teacher in advance
I can see there are playing fields, tennis courts and a sports hall next to the pool - can we use these facilities while we are there?
No - parents/guardians, swimmers and siblings only have access to the pool facilities and no other facilities on site
Can I book at any time in the term or do you have set times you take new bookings?
We take bookings all year round
